Healing Service
Expecting Great Things!

We are coming together this Sunday with a simple but bold expectation: Jesus can heal our bodies.

Mark 16:17–18 says, “These signs will accompany those who believe… they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

In the Gospels, we see Jesus meeting people in their pain - touching the sick, restoring what was broken, and bringing hope where there had been despair. We believe that the ministry of Jesus continues through the power of the Holy Spirit today. Healing is not something we manufacture or control, but it is something we receive as we turn to Him in faith.

This service is a time set apart to seek God intentionally for healing. Whether it is chronic illness, recent diagnosis, anxiety, grief, addiction, or wounds that are harder to name, we believe that nothing is beyond the reach of Jesus.

We are not gathering around hype or sensationalism. But this is all about the presence of God in the church today.

What to expect

During the service, there will be music and prayer, our pastor will bring a message on healing, and at the end will give an invitation for people to come forward for prayer. You do not need to be a member of the church, have strong faith, or know exactly what to say. You are simply invited to come as you are.

We believe the Holy Spirit is moving in the world today - bringing God's peace, restoring joy, and healing the sick. Some will experience a moment of profound breakthrough and others will begin a journey of healing over time. We trust God with the outcome and lean into His goodness with expectation.

Come Expecting!

If you are carrying something heavy, or if you are simply curious about what it means for Jesus to heal our bodies, you are welcome. Bring your story, your questions, and your need.

We are praying that this Sunday would be marked by the presence of Jesus and that people would encounter Him in a real and personal way.

Jesus can heal. And we are believing Him to heal you!

A Brief Theology of Healing

We believe healing is part of the good news of Jesus and a sign of God’s kingdom breaking into the world. In Scripture, Jesus heals the sick, and He also sends His followers to pray for healing. So we take both seriously: we believe God still heals today, and we actively pray with faith for healing when people are sick or hurting.

When Jesus came, died, and rose again, He launched God’s kingdom bringing forgiveness, healing, restoration, and new life into the present. We see real signs of that today: people are healed, lives are changed, and peace comes in ways that are deeply real.

But we also live in a world that is still marked by brokenness, sickness, and suffering. We don’t yet see the fullness of God’s future world where everything is made completely new. That will come when Jesus returns.

So we live in the tension of “already and not yet.”

  • Already: God is at work now - so we pray for healing with faith and expectation.
  • Not yet: We still wait for the day when all pain and sickness will be gone forever.

This is why we pray boldly, but also trust God deeply, no matter the outcome. Healing is not something we control - it is something we receive from a good and sovereign God who is both present with us now and faithful to complete His work in the future.
