We just spent 3 months with the Alpha Course exploring life's big questions, sharing meals, and discovering more about who Jesus is. It has been a joy to journey with you!
But if Alpha was about discovering Jesus, we want BETA to be about growing in Jesus every day.
So, we're excited to invite you to join BETA: Next Steps with Jesus – Eight weeks through the summer where we can work together on building a strong foundation for your faith and take practical next steps in your walk with Christ.
Each week we'll explore a different aspect of growing as a follower of Jesus, including learning to hear God's voice through Scripture, developing a meaningful prayer life, discovering how the Holy Spirit strengthens and empowers us, becoming more like Jesus in our everyday lives, serving others, and sharing our faith naturally.
Our evenings will be relaxed, practical, and encouraging – and hopefully outside with a cold drink! Each session will include:
- A chance to connect with one another.
- An interview with someone who has followed Jesus a long time who will share their story and what they've learned along the way.
- A Bible discussion focused on practical discipleship.
- Q&A's
- Time to pray together and encourage one another.
- A weekly growth challenge and homework to help you continue growing throughout the week.
You don't need to have all the answers or know your Bible well. BETA is for anyone who just wants to keep growing and discover what it means to walk with Jesus day by day.
